Take a picture in front of the Cinderella Castle. All visitors must do this at least once. The Cinderella Castle is located at the entrance of Fantasyland inside of the Magic Kingdom park. It is easily seen when walking on Main Street (which was modeled after Walt Disney's childhood hometown, Marceline, Missouri).

In front of the castle is the Partners Statue depicting Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. The best spot for a picture is in front of the statue. This spot encompasses both the statue and the castle. There are professional photographers who can take your picture, or you can take one yourself.

Visit the World Showcase in Epcot. The World Showcase is located in the back of the Epcot theme park. It is an area broken up into 11 different pavilions devoted to various parts of the world. The pavilions include: France, Norway, China, United Kingdom, United States, Mexico, Japan and Morocco. All of these pavilions are intricately decorated in the style of the land they are based on. People come from those areas of the world to work at the pavilions. There are also restaurants specializing in food from each country.

Check out the Animal Kingdom theme park. This park is the largest of all the four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom). There are a variety of things to do there, such as Kilimanjaro Safari, a ride that takes you on a safari through Disney's man-made African Savannah. There is also the Maharajah Jungle Trek, where you can trek through the park to see various animals in their native habitats.

Try a character meal. There are a variety of character meals all over Walt Disney World. If you and your family like Winnie the Pooh and the gang, try The Crystal Palace. It is located in Magic Kingdom. The characters featured there are Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore.

If you happen to be fans of Mickey Mouse, check out Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort. The characters there include the fab "five": Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald. The restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner.

For a more relaxed character meal, try Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort. The characters appear at breakfast only and include: Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

Reservations for many table service meals can be made 180 days in advance by calling the Walt Disney World reservation line at 407-WDW-DINE or visiting its website at disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining.

Go resort hopping! With more than 20 resorts to check out, there is plenty to see at each one. All you need to do is take advantage of Disney's bus system and monorail. The buses will come and pick you up from whichever park or hotel you happen to be at. Just pick the bus that will take you to the resort you want to see. The monorail is just as easy. It travels between the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, the Polynesian Resort and the Contemporary Resort. You can see all three of these hotels and then ride the monorail back to Magic Kingdom or Epcot.
