How to Shop for Walt Disney World Souvenirs

Walt Disney World encompasses several acres of Orlando, Florida. It takes more than one day to visit all of it. Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and two water parks make up Walt Disney World. There are several hotels on property as well as Downtown Disney, a shopping district with all things Disney.

  1. Large Stores

    • Shop at places like Disney's Emporium located on Main Street at Magic Kingdom or at the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney. These stores have a large selection of Disney souvenirs that can be found in all the parks. If you want to shop for half a day, take advantage of Downtown Disney. There, you'll find specific shops that cater to every souvenir need.

    Specific Stores

    • Each park has its own souvenirs depending on the park's theme. If you're looking for specific souvenirs, browse the smaller shops throughout each park itself. For example, you'll find items specific to Animal Kingdom that can't be found at Epcot or Magic Kingdom.

    Storage

    • If you're staying on property at any of the Disney hotels be sure to take advantage of their shipping services. If you purchase something from any of the parks and don't want to carry it around the rest of the day, the shop can ship your purchased items to your hotel. All you have to do is pick these items up when it's most convenient for you.

If you're not staying on property, save the shopping until the end of each park day. That way, you won't have to carry souvenirs with you everywhere. Most of the rides also don't have a place for you to put items you don't want to take them on the ride.

    Luggage

    • Purchase souvenirs that can travel home with you and if you're flying, can fit in your luggage. If the items can't fit into your luggage, you can have them shipped straight from the store to your residence.
