How to Get to Disney's California Adventures

Disneyland is a great destination not only for family vacations but also for adult only trips and conferences. Anaheim, California where Disneyland is located is a friendly and fairly safe city with an abundance of hotels, restaurants and other activities geared toward Disneyland visitors. Easily get to Disney's California Adventures away from the hustle and bustle of L.A. and enjoy all Disneyland and Anaheim have to offer.

      Fly or drive to get to Disney's California Adventures. Keep in mind that you can buy Disneyland package deals which include airfare. Check with your travel agent or online travel agents, such as "Expedia," and receive perks like bonus days included in package deals.

      Find directions to Disneyland on the "Disneyland" website where you will find driving directions from every airport and freeway--10 sets of directions. Get direct airport shuttle service to Disneyland and hotels from LAX, "John Wayne Airport" in Orange County, Burbank Airport or Long Beach Airport. "John Wayne Airport" is closer to Disneyland (but usually costs a bit more to fly into).

      Know that most of the local hotels are within walking distance to Disneyland, but many of them also offer a frequent shuttle service to the parks as well. Purchase and print out Disneyland tickets at home, buy them at your Anaheim hotel or get them at Disneyland once you arrive to get to Disney's California Adventures. Note that Disneyland includes both Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure Park. Allow plenty of time if you plan to visit both parks.

      Stay on site to get to Disney's California Adventures at one of four hotels, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, Disneyland Hotel, and Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotels. Enjoy the convenience of being close to everything at Disneyland as well as the relaxing amenities of spa and resort hotels to get to Disney's California Adventures.

      Get to Disneyland easily by walking or taking a shuttle and opt for staying in a number of local hotels instead, such as the Hilton Anaheim or Anaheim Fairfield Inn, if you want different amenities or a cheaper rate. Find other hotels through a travel agent or via the "Disneyland" web site where "Good Neighbor Hotels" are categorized by: Suites, Superior, Moderate and Economy.
