What is the theme of story icarus and Daedalus?

Daedalus and Icarus' story revolves around the theme of hubris - excessive pride or arrogance that leads to downfall. Daedalus' skill and knowledge of craftsmanship leads to a sense of superiority, prompting him to escape the island of Crete using wings he created.
