Select a hat base and try it on to be sure it fits. Look it over to make sure it is in good repair. The bases get handled by customers, and sometimes the chin straps break.
Take your hat to the ear wall. The ear wall has hundreds of ears to choose from. Select a pair of ears and snap them onto your hat. If you like the way the ears look, keep them. If you don't, unsnap them and choose another pair.
Take your hat with ears attached to the accessories wall. Accessories include "earrings", patches, buttons and pins. Try on different accessories to see what works for your hat. Attach your chosen accessories to the hat.
Proceed to the cashier. The cashier will ask if you would like your name or another sentiment embroidered on your hat. If you want embroidery, indicate the correct spelling of your name or sentiment and choose a thread color.
Pay for your purchase. The total amount will include the cost of the hat base, ears, accessories and embroidery. Prices vary depending on how many details you include on your hat.
If you opted for embroidery hold your receipt and head to the embroidery area to watch your hat being sewn. You can retrieve your hat when it is done by showing your receipt. There is no need to go to the embroidery desk if you have decided against embroidery, just wear your hat and enjoy.
