What do people in Peru for Halloween?
Halloween is not widely celebrated in Peru as it is in some other countries. Peru's main cultural and religious traditions such as Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and other Catholic holidays take greater precedence and hold deeper significance for the majority of the Peruvian population. While Halloween has gradually gained some presence in recent years particularly in larger cities with foreign residents , its observance remains relatively limited compared to traditional Peruvian and Hispanic festivities. Halloween-focused activities can usually be found in foreign restaurants or international schools but they do not typically involve extensive public celebration similar to those seen in countries with strong Halloween traditions.
