Wine Country is located in northern California's Napa Valley region. Vineyards stretch for miles in this lush landscape. Tourists attractions are very popular in Wine Country. Finding a place to eat is certainly not a problem in this area. Finding a family-friendly atmosphere may seem an impossible feat, but it's actually fairly easy. There are several locations that offer affordable food in a comfortable setting.
  1. French

    • The family-friendly eatery, The Fig Cafe, is a French Cuisine restaurant that offers something for everyone. Menu items include fried calamari, baked Laura Chenel goat cheese, frisée-lardon salad, fish du jour and cassoulet. If French food doesn't please everyone in the family, the Fig Cafe also offers standard American food. Items such as a grilled top sirloin burger, grilled cheese sandwich, pizza and spiced french toast are also on the menu. The Fig Cafe serves brunch every day from 10 to 3, and brunch and dinner Monday-Friday. The cafe has a down-home, laid back feel with exceptional food. Choose to eat in or take out; no reservations are required to dine.

    American

    • Mustards Grill is a easy-going, family-friendly restaurant that offers something for everyone. Menu items include half-slab barbecued baby back ribs, grilled hanger steak, 1/2-pound award winning hamburger, onion rings and 3-cheese mac & cheese. Mustards Grill also offers a large kids menu, perfect for picky eaters. Mustards Grill is open every day of the week and accepts reservations, but also honors walk-ins.

    Mexican

    • If you have a craving for Mexican cuisine while visiting Wine Country, stop by La Casa Restaurant. This place offers Mexican food in a comfortable sit-down atmosphere. Menu items include nachos, enchiladas rancheras, chile verde, huevos rancheros and fresh fish tacos. They also have two all-American flavors: 1/2 pound burger and an avocado chicken sandwich. La Casa Restaurant is open everyday of the week. No reservations are required.

    Italian

    • If you find yourself looking for a family-friendly Italian restaurant in Wine Country, eat at Cafe Citti. The atmosphere is very relaxed and long tables invite guests to sit, eat and converse. Menu items include a create-your-own pasta dish, Pollo alla Toscana, Raviolini in Brodo, Tortellini Pasta Salad, Creme Brulle and a variety of salads and desserts. During lunch, Cafe Citti also serves sandwiches and pizza. Cafe Citti is open every day of the week, however, they close from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. each day. Reservations are no required.
