Carmike 10 has 10 screens showing predominantly new, mainstream Hollywood releases. Prices range from $5 for the "Super Bargain Matinee" (the last matinee of the day) to $8 for an adult evening ticket, with a $3 3D surcharge added to 3D showings. Children and seniors pay a discounted rate of $5.50 for evening shows. The theater offers gift certificates and online ticket purchase. Its box office opens 30 minutes before the day's first showing.
In addition to new releases, the four-screen Silver Screen Theatre also offers regular non-typical movie theater services, like karaoke night, dinner theater performances, sports game showings, "Dinner and a Movie" for $12 and $3 "Special Late Nite Cult Classics." In addition to the standard movie fare of popcorn and candy, the Silver Screen serves pizza, chicken wings, shrimp and burgers, along with spirits, wine and beer. Silver Screen Theatre also claims to be the least expensive theater in the area; it charges $5 for matinees and $7 for all movies after 7 p.m.
One of the largest IMAX screens in the world is housed in Pensacola at the National Naval Aviation Museum. The theater is open to the public and daily shows three movies: "Hubble," "Magic of Flight" and "Fighter Pilot." Showtimes begin at 11 a.m. with "Magic of Flight" and end with "Hubble" at 4 p.m. General admission is $8, with discounted pricing for museum members and educational institutions.
Part of the Rave family of cinemas, Rave Motion Pictures has two locations in Pensacola, both of which feature stadium seating, digital projection and audio, a game room and discounted showtimes. Both locations show only new Hollywood releases. They also host 3D showings.
