The Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional Airport, located northeast of Pensacola, is a multipurpose public airport. It offers two asphalt runways, each with a length of approximately 7,000 feet, and daily flights with commercial carriers such as AirTran, American, Continental, Delta, United and US Airways. In addition, 93 private aircraft are based at the airport's aviation center.

The Ferguson Airport 82J, founded in 1955, is a private-owned public airport southwest of Pensacola. It is a full-service facility that functions within the airspace of the the Pensacola Naval Air Station, and it offers one 3,200-foot asphalt and a parallel grass runway. It also provides 24 aircraft hangars as well as flight instruction from four FAA-certified flight instructors.

The Coastal Airport 83J, located 10 miles northwest of Pensacola, is a public airport activated in 1960. It offers two turf runways (18 and 36), each with a length of 2,526 feet. It also houses 42 privately owned aircraft at the field: 19 single-engine, 12 gliders and 11 ultralights. Aircraft operations average approximately 21 fights per day.
