    • The Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival happens at the Stoweflake Mountain Resort and Spa set against the background of the Green Mountains in Vermont. It takes place in early July. The highlights of the festival are the four scheduled launches of over 30 hot air balloons into the skies. The festival also includes food vendors, live music entertainment, craft vendors and activities for kids, such as rides and games.

    • The Lake Champlain Balloon Festival began in 1988 and has been going ever since. It takes place in early June of each year in Burlington, Vermont. The highlight of the festival is an evening balloon lift called the Balloon Glow. During the Balloon Glow, the balloons remain anchored to the ground and are illuminated as they rise. The end result is a sky filled with balloons glowing in different colors. The festival also features amusement rides, food vendors and live entertainment.
