The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine houses and hosts many interesting activities and events throughout the year. On the ground floor there's Coco's Diner, where children can pretend to cook for you. The ground floor also houses the theatre, where children can try on a variety of costumes. On the first floor, you'll find Our Town, a miniature-sized town, containing a lobster boat, a car repair shop and a toddler park. On the last two floors there's a ranger station, a tidal-pool touch tank, a space shuttle and book nook. In addition to all of these wonderful exhibits, there's theatre classes and various special events, like Animal Fun and Pets & More.
