Lake Eola is a picturesque park in downtown Orlando that encompasses 43 acres, including the lake. The fountain is considered the most beautiful in the city and is a much-loved landmark for local residents.
Overlooking the lake is a Disney amphitheater that hosts plays and concerts throughout the year. Every Sunday, Lake Eola hosts a farmers market, featuring the finest in local produce, as well as prepared foods and unique crafts.
Spanning 50 acres, the Harry P. Leu Gardens is one of the most beautiful and tranquil places in Orlando. Escape the bustle of the theme parks and stroll along three miles of paved walkways that take you through numerous gardens, including a tropical stream garden and a butterfly garden. It also features the largest formal rose garden in Florida, making this a must-see for the romantically inclined.

The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens was founded in 1961 to promote the legacy of sculptor Albin Polasek and increase awareness and appreciation of sculpture. The galleries, historic residence and chapel are open from Sept. 1 to June 30, and the sculpture garden is open year-round. Entrance to the sculpture gardens is free.

Covering 110 acres, Gator Land is a theme park and nature conservancy known as the "Alligator Capital of the World." It's home to hundreds of alligators and crocodiles, and visitors get the chance to observe these creatures up close. At the Snakes of Florida attraction, only a glass barrier separates you from some of Florida's most venomous snakes. There is also a flamingo lagoon, aviary and barnyard where you can pet llamas and goats.

The Orlando Science Center is one of the premier science and technology museums in Florida. It has numerous hands-on exhibits, many aimed especially at children.
One of its most popular attractions in the Science Center is the Dr. Phillips Cinedome. It spans eight stories and is the largest Iwerks theater and Digistar II planetarium in the world, with a an impressive 28,000 watts of digital sound.
