    • The Expedition South Kona snorkel tour provided by Sea Quest takes participants to Kealakekua, Honaunau Bay and a third site determined by the captain, based on weather conditions and wildlife presence. Participants are provided with tropical snacks, juice, water and a deli lunch. The tour lasts five hours in duration and departs at 8:15 a.m, as of April 2011. The tour will allow individuals to explore sea caves and lava tubes as well as provide dolphin and whale watching opportunities. Adult tickets are $109 and tickets for children ages 5 through 12 can be purchased for $89. Sales and harbor taxes will be added to ticket prices.

    Deluxe Morning Adventure

    • The Deluxe Morning Adventure snorkel tour provided by Sea Quest takes participants to Kealakekua and Honaunau Bay. Participants are provided with tropical snacks, juice and water. The tour lasts four hours in duration and departs at 8:00 a.m. The tour will allow individuals to explore sea caves and lava tubes as well as provide dolphin and whale watching opportunities. Adult tickets are $92 and tickets for children ages 5 through 12 can be purchased for $72, as of April 2011. Sales and harbor taxes will be added to ticket prices. Days of operation vary throughout the year.

    Captain Cook Express

    • The Captain Cook Express snorkel tour provided by Sea Quest takes participants to Kealakekua Bay. Participants are provided with tropical snacks, juice and water. The tour lasts three hours in duration and departs at 12:45 p.m., as of April 2011. The tour will allow individuals to explore sea caves and lava tubes as well as provide dolphin and whale watching opportunities. Adult tickets are $72 and tickets for children ages 5 through 12 can be purchased for $62. Sales and harbor taxes will be added to ticket prices.

    Reservation Information

    • Reservations for any of the snorkel tours provided by Sea Quest can be made online, via email or by calling a toll free number located on the website and promotional material. Web specials are available on the website for reservations placed through the online order form. These specials are valid for advance purchase only. Sea Quest provides snorkeling gear to participants and advises participants to bring a towel, sunscreen and camera. Pregnant women, children under 5, participants with bad backs or individuals who cannot climb a ladder cannot be accommodated on Sea Quest tours.
