Israeli Group Tours for Singles

The Holy Land of Israel is -- pardon the pun -- a mecca for vacationers who wish to combine their love of traveling to exotic places with a sense of wonder at seeing the land where an integral part of their historical and religious culture came from. Some singles vacationers may also be looking forward to traveling the land where their distant ancestors came from. Vacations aimed at single travelers may also make an effort to encourage social interaction between the traveler and good-looking Israeli natives, to make your vacation an especially memorable one.
  1. Kenes Tours

    • The singles travel program organized by Kenes Tours, an Israeli travel company based at Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, lasts for ten days and starts and ends in Tel Aviv. The program organizes lots of social activities and includes hiking, rafting and swimming. The tour visits the Old City of Jerusalem, Herod's fortress at Masada, the Dead Sea, Galilee, the Golan Heights and Haifa. Recreation includes a Jeep tour, Bedouin and Druze cuisine, wine-tasting and an all-night dance party in Eilat. Prices and further details can be obtained by emailing the company (see Resources).

    Best Single Travel

    • The Mingle with Singles experience organized by Best Single Travel costs $2,290 for the 2011 tour held in July and lasts ten days. The Boca Raton Jewish Community Center singles group makes up part of the group. The first stop is Jerusalem, where the group visits the Old City. The following day, the group visits attractions in the New City. The group then visits the Dead Sea, Masada, Qumran, the ruins of the Roman city Beit Shean, the Sea of Galilee, Hazor, the Golan Heights, Acre and Haifa. The last stop on the tour is Tel Aviv, where a local singles mixer is organized.

    Momentum Tours

    • For single women who want to experience Israel without the distractions of single men in their group, Momentum Tours offers an 11-day trip that focuses on the cultural and artistic side of the Holy Land. Starting and finishing in Tel Aviv, the tour visits the Dead Sea, Masada, Qumran, Jerusalem, Beit Shean, the Jordan Valley, Galilee and Haifa. Along the way, the tour visits villages where Druze, Moroccan, Yemenite and Israeli crafts and recreation are offered by the local businesswomen. The tour also focuses on Israeli history and fits in a visit to a spa.

    Bountiful Travel Cruise

    • For those who prefer luxury on the open seas to land travel, Bountiful Travel offers a Bible Lands Singles Cruise. The cruise sets sail from Rome and stops off in Haifa and Ashdod ports in Israel. The cruise also visits Cyprus, Egypt and Turkey. From Haifa, excursions are available to the Sea of Galilee and around North Israel. From Ashdod, you can take an optional Jerusalem excursion. The cruise also holds seminars on the Bible lands and organizes social activities where vacationers can meet like-minded people, and maybe join up for an excursion or two together. Note that LDS church standards in dress and behavior are expected on the tour (see Resources).
