    European Backpacking

    • Consider a backpacking adventure in Europe. There are websites and companies which help you arrange your travel plans, offer tips and list inexpensive hostels to stay at. The internship takes place in either Shanghai or Hangzhou, where you will intern with a local newspaper or magazine. Each intern is assigned an English-speaking supervisor and is provided accommodations, meals and insurance. As of 2010, the cost for a journalism internship in China ranges from $3,895 for a one month stay to $5,345 for a three month stay, with each additional month costing $1,345.
