Obtain high-quality photographs of the U.S. state. Travel brochures contain specified photographs of the region or activity (such as a state park, capital or museum). Choose photographs that offer a variety of images to draw a visual interest into the U.S. state travel brochure. Upload the images into a JPEG format on the computer for brochure construction.

Design an eye-catching, informational cover. Write a gripping, persuasive catch phrase in a big, bold font. Insert a photograph that represents the interior pages of the travel brochure (such as the New York City skyline). Ensure the name of the state and location are clearly communicated to the potential traveler.
Provide interesting, concise details in the interior brochure pages. Answer questions, such as why should the tourist visit this particular destination? Why should they spend their money in California versus Maryland? What type of entertainment or excitement does this location provide it's visitors? Answers may include a list of luxurious spas, photographs of white sandy beaches or descriptions of scenic hiking trails. Ensure that all text and pictures adhere to the original focus for the travel brochure, as determined in Step 4.
Insert a visitor's coupon on the back page of the travel brochure. Perhaps it's an exclusive offer for a wine country tour or a discount to the state's premier entertainment attraction (such as Six Flags). Verify the attractive offer solidifies the goal of the brochure.
Supply a state map. Tailor the map to the specified region (or state park) to which the travel brochure advertises. On the map, highlight key attractions and major roadways, as applicable.
