How to Find the CVV on Your Andhra Bank Debit Card

Locating the CVV/CVC on an Andhra Bank (Now Union Bank) Debit Card

Note: Andhra Bank merged into Union Bank of India effective April 1, 2020. Cards issued after merger carry Union Bank branding; older Andhra Bank cards remain valid until expiry.

Finding the CVV (3-Digit Security Code)

1. Turn the card over to the back side.
2. Locate the signature panel (white strip with "Authorized Signature" or similar).
3. Look at the right end of the signature panel.
4. You'll see a 3-digit number printed (not embossed) – this is the CVV (Card Verification Value) / CVC (Card Verification Code).

Important Security Notes

• Never share CVV – not with bank, merchants, family, anyone.
• CVV ≠ PIN – PIN is for ATM/pos; CVV for online/phone.
• Memorize or secure – don't write on card.
• Virtual cards (Union Bank app) have separate CVVs.
• If compromised: Block card immediately via app, IVR (1800 22 00 55), or branch.

• RuPay / Visa / Mastercard variants.
• Contactless (tap-to-pay) on newer cards.
• EMV chip + magnetic stripe.
• Expiry: MM/YY on front.
