What currency is used in Central America?

There are several different currencies used in Central America. The most common one is the US dollar (USD), which is used in the countries of Belize, El Salvador, and Panama. The currencies of Costa Rica and Honduras are called the colón (CRC) and the lempira (HNL), respectively. Guatemala and Nicaragua use the quetzal (GTQ) and the córdoba (NIO).
