There is no single "BTA fee." Instead, several fees may apply depending on your situation:

1. Nigerian Passport Fees (NIS)

• Standard 32-page: ₦15,000 (5-yr) / ₦20,000 (10-yr).
• 64-page: ₦20,000 / ₦30,000.
• Expedited: extra ₦10,000–20,000.
• Apply via NIS portal.

2. Visa Fees (Destination Country)

• Paid to embassy/consulate of destination (e.g., UK £115–£3,250; US $185; Schengen €80; Canada CAD 100).
• Vary by nationality, visa type, processing speed.

3. Airport Departure Taxes

• Often included in airline ticket ("YQ/YR" carrier charges + government taxes).
• If not included: ~₦1,000–5,000 (domestic), ~₦5,000–15,000 (international) paid at airport.

4. Other Possible Costs

• Yellow Card (Yellow Fever cert): ₦2,000 at Port Health.
