How to Call Australia From the USA With Optus Mobile
When you're visiting the United States from Australia you can still use your Optus phone while you're on vacation. The charges will be expensive to dial back home to Australia, but it's an easy way for your loved ones at home to reach you. Before leaving you must add international roaming that covers North America (or at the least the United States). Without this you cannot receive or make calls on your Optus phone.
