Rani Velunachiyar was the Queen of Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu. She is considered to be one of the first women freedom fighters in India. She fought against the British East India Company in the late 18th century.

Muthulakshmi Reddy was a doctor, social reformer and freedom fighter. She was the first woman to be elected to the Madras Legislative Assembly. She also served as the Deputy Speaker of the Madras Legislative Assembly.

Sarojini Naidu was a poet, orator and freedom fighter. She was the first woman to be elected as the President of the Indian National Congress. She also served as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
4. Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay
Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay was a social reformer, freedom fighter and art patron. She was the founder of the Indian Cooperative Union and the All India Handicrafts Board. She also served as the Chairman of the National Council of Women in India.
5. Subhadra Kumari Chauhan
Subhadra Kumari Chauhan was a poet and freedom fighter. She is best known for her poem "Jhansi Ki Rani", which is about Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi. She also served as the President of the All India Women's Conference.
