Gather all the items to pack. Separate heavier items. Roll jeans, fold sports coats and bag pairs of shoes. Place all heavier items into suitcase.
Roll lighter items. Tee shirts, shorts, and light pants are all rolled. Set these items into the suitcase firmly on top and next to each other. Place rolled socks into any small spaces left. Place lingerie and underwear into a lingerie bag. Flatten, roll and place into the suitcase.
Place small items, jewelry and any toiletries into sealable plastic bags. Separate makeup and other items that may leak into their own bag. If the suitcase has a net pocket, place these items there.
Fold dress shirts, delicate sweaters and dresses with tissue paper. Place clothing into dry cleaner bags and fold to appropriate size to fit. Lay these across the top of all the other items.
