Spin the lock tumbler dials to 0-0-0, the default setting for a new bag. Push the pen tip or tip of a sharp and thin tool into the reset button on the upper corner of the lock. Listen for a click and then remove the tool.
Spin the tumblers into the three-digit numeric code of your choice. For example, 3-4-5.
Pinch the two side buttons on the lock and listen for the click telling you the reset button is released.
Pack the bag as you normally do. Close the bag.
Spin the tumblers to lock the bag for extra security.
