1. Park your car on a level surface.
2. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
3. Open the hood of your car.
4. Locate the coolant reservoir. It is usually a plastic tank with a black or blue cap.
5. Remove the cap of the coolant reservoir.
6. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
7. As the engine runs, air bubbles will rise to the surface of the coolant reservoir.
8. Continue to add coolant to the reservoir until the air bubbles stop appearing.
9. Once the air bubbles stop appearing, replace the cap of the coolant reservoir.
10. Let the engine cool down completely.
11. Check the coolant level in the reservoir and add more coolant if necessary.
12. Close the hood of your car.
