Can you have a dual citizenship in Vietnam and USA?
Vietnam does not allow dual citizenship. If a Vietnamese citizen acquires citizenship of another country, they will automatically lose their Vietnamese citizenship. There are some exceptions to this rule, such as for people who are born in Vietnam to foreign parents or who have been granted special permission by the Vietnamese government.
The United States, on the other hand, allows dual citizenship. This means that a person can be a citizen of the United States and another country at the same time. There are some restrictions on dual citizenship, however, such as the fact that a person cannot hold certain government jobs or run for president if they are also a citizen of another country.
