1. The warrant is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
2. The warrant is supported by probable cause.
3. The warrant is presented to the jail by a law enforcement officer.
If these conditions are met, the jail must hold the person named in the warrant until the warrant is signed by a judge or until the person is released by a court order.
However, if the warrant is not signed within a reasonable amount of time, the person named in the warrant may be entitled to a release on habeas corpus.
