If you are citizen of a country not listed above but you are a permanent or valid resident of Ireland or the EU, you do not need a visa to land in Ireland. You will need to show your permanent or valid residence card, however.
If you are a passport holder from a country not listed above and you are not a permanent resident of Ireland or the EU, you will need to obtain a visa from an Irish consulate or embassy prior to traveling to Ireland.
Travelers can apply for employment permits, business visas, student visas and tourist visas for travel to Ireland. Travelers who must land in Ireland en route to other destinations may apply for a transit visa. There are special requirements and restrictions for each type of visa.
In addition to completing and submitting a visa application, travelers to Ireland must also submit a nonrefundable processing fee. The cost of a single-entry visa to Ireland is 60 euros, a multiple-entry visa to Ireland is 100 euros and a transit visa is €25.
