How long will it take before you can permenatly start work after getting a fiancee visa i read that if have but to stop when this expires?

Once you receive a fiancé(e) visa, you will be able to enter the United States and marry your fiancé(e) within 90 days of your arrival. After you get married, you will need to apply for adjustment of status to become a permanent resident. This process can take several months to years to complete.

In the meantime, you may be eligible to apply for a work permit, called an Employment Authorization Document (EAD). This will allow you to work legally in the United States while your adjustment of status application is pending. However, please note that if your fiancé(e) visa expires before your EAD is approved, you will not be able to work in the United States until you receive your EAD.
