The visa application form IM.47 is available for download on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia site. You should bring your completed application form and a recent passport photo with you when you apply for your Malaysian visa.
If you are currently residing in Singapore, you need to bring proof of your status in Singapore and a copy of the document. For visitors to Singapore, you'll need to show a visa or passport stamp documenting your arrival in Singapore and a confirmed plane ticket detailing your departure plans.
Your passport and completed Malaysian visa will be returned within four business days of your visa application. The ministry is closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. If you apply on a Thursday, your visa will be ready by the following Wednesday.
