The United States requires many tourists to obtain a visa before they are allowed into the country. Those seeking to visit the U.S. only temporarily need a non-immigrant visa. China
- Any citizen of China wishing to visit the United States needs to apply for a non-immigrant visa at a branch of Embassy of the United States in China. China has consular offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang and Chengdu. All applicants must attend an interview. To organize an interview, call the Visa Information Call Center. - Citizens wishing to visit the United States must complete the application form, DS-160. You must submit this form before your interview and you must upload your photo online.
