Vietnam Visa Requirements for United States Citizens

Passport

• You must have a valid passport with at least six months left before it expires.

Visa Application Form

• Application forms are available online. You may also have an application mailed to you by contacting the Embassy of Vietnam, or you can pick one up at the embassy. The application must be fully completed and signed.

2 x 2 Photo

• Attach a 2" x 2" color photo of yourself to the application.

Visa Stamping Fee

• The visa stamping fee is $30. You can pay by money order, cashier's check, or certified check payable to "The Embassy of Vietnam."

Prepaid Return Envelope

• Enclose a prepaid return envelope from the United States Postal Service or Federal Express; the embassy will use it to return your passport and travel visa.

• You can apply for a visa by mail or in person. Mail your application, passport, prepaid envelope and stamping fee to:
