How to Reset a Lock on My American Tourister Briefcase
A division of Samsonite luggage, American Tourister produces a full line of economy luggage, business and computer cases and accessories. To protect the case and its contents from unauthorized access or accidentally opening, some models in the American Tourister line of briefcases are designed with integrated combination locks. For security purposes, the locks are designed with changeable combinations, providing the user the option of resetting the locks as needed.

Open the cover of the briefcase. Set all the numbers on both lock dials to "0."

Locate the small reset button on the side of the lock mechanism inside the briefcase. Press and hold the reset button with one hand.

Turn the dial to the new combination with your free hand. Release the reset button. Repeat the procedure on the other lock.
