1. Open the back of the trunk.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver or socket wrench to remove the screws that hold the third brake light housing in place.
3. Gently pry the third brake light housing out of the window trim.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the third brake light.
5. Replace the old third brake light with a new one.
6. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the third brake light.
7. Snap the third brake light housing back into the window trim.
8. Replace the screws that hold the third brake light housing in place.
9. Close the back of the trunk.
10. Test the third brake light to ensure that it is working properly.
