Plan for some scary accommodations in Dallas. The Lawrence Hotel reports many ghost sightings. Opened in 1925, the hotel reports cold spots, unnatural high-heeled footsteps, phone calls to the front desk from vacant rooms and a man dressed in twenties attire who walks the halls and then suddenly vanishes.
Visit the Millermore Mansion in the Old City Park. Visitors to the mansion report experiencing cold spots and a female presence in the house on the second floor where the nursery was located.
Go to Combs Street in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas. A young female ghost is often seen near the railroad tracks there. The story goes that she was riding her bicycle, got stuck on the tracks and was hit by a train. The Wilber Street playground is haunted by a young girl who was run over by a drunk driver. She sits and sings happily on the swing set.
Drive to White Rock Lake. A girl coming home from her prom ran off the road and into the lake where she drowned. On clear nights, a female ghost in a prom dress emerges from the water and walks around the lake.
Eat at the Snuffers Restaurant. It is haunted by a hungry ghost. Many people report seeing a man walk into the restaurant, sit down and then disappear moments later.
Visit the Turtle Creek Center. In the stairway between the 13th and 14th floors people have seen a man with blood running from his eyes and a frightened look on his face. In 1989, a businessman reportedly died in his office under suspicious circumstances.
