Find a school. Longwood is in the Seminole County school district. Contact the district office at 407-320-0000 for information on which school your child will attend and the transfer process. You can also go on the school district's website (scps.k12.fl.us) to enter your address and find your child's bus schedule.
Set up utilities. Garbage service in the City of Longwood is provided by Waste Pro USA. You can find a pickup schedule and rates on the City of Longwood website (longwoodfl.org) under the city services link. The City of Longwood also provides water and sewer service. Deposit requirements vary from $50 to $100, plus a $15 account activation fee.
