For pulled pork, sweet potato fries and barbecue chicken, check out Smokin' Al's Famous BBQ. Located on West Main Street, Smokin' Al's is located right in the heart of Bay Shore. Every Monday they offer specials in honor of Monday Night Football. They have been open since 2004, and since 2005 have been Zagat rated every year. Al, the owner of the restaurant, plays jazz music from the 40s and 50s every night.
Tula Kitchen is owned by head chef Jackie Sharlup and offers upscale dining and live music nightly. They offer a large selection of fish dishes and chicken dishes, and most of the entrees contain organic ingredients. For the vegetarian, Jackie makes lentil burgers and tempeh teriaki. Meat eaters will enjoy seared sesame crusted tuna and ginger butter seared scallops. Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. is happy hour, where martinis are half price and a glass of wine is $5. Tula Kitchen is located on Main Street.

Fatfish Wine Bar and Bistro is located on Main Street in Bay Shore.
AJI 53 is one of the highest Zagat rated sushi restaurants in the area. Some of their signature rolls include the American Dream, which is rock shrimp tempura topped with spicy lobster, Twister, which is tuna tempura topped with spicy lobster, and the Dancing Dragon, which is eel, avocado and tobiko wrapped around shrimp tempura. They are located on East Main Street and are open all week long for lunch and dinner.
