    Shedd Aquarium

    • The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago features aquatic exhibits of ocean, lake, river and reef animals in an enclosed setting. The aquarium is home to 32,500 animals, from alligators to whales to penguins. Guests may enjoy live animal encounters that allow interaction with the animals under the supervision of the aquarium staff.     Navy Pier

    • Navy Pier is a popular attraction along Lake Michigan and is ideal for weekend activities. The pier features rides, fireworks and entertainment as well as boat cruises. During the summer, there is a fireworks display mid-week and on weekends synchronized to music of different soundtracks. There are bikes and roller skates available for rent at Navy Pier so visitors can enjoy over 50 acres of parks and attractions without having to walk or drive. There are also several shopping and dining options available.
