The River Rose, an original New Orleans paddle-wheel boat, sailed along the Mississippi River as a casino boat before Capt. John Panzella bought it in 2000. The purchase of the River Rose was the answer to a dream for Capt. Panzella, who wanted to own and operate a party boat on the Hudson River.
Newburgh, New York provides a home port for the River Rose, which departs from the the Newburgh waterfront at the foot of Front Street. The boat is fully approved by the United States Coast Guard.
