Home to what is locally referred to as "Ole' Barney," the Barnegat Lighthouse is located at the northern tip of Long Beach Island. Historically, shipping vessels and boats travelling to and from New York along the New Jersey shoreline relied on the Barnegat Lighthouse for safe maneuvers of the currents and sandbars. Relit in 2009, the lighthouse was originally illuminated in 1859. Atop the lighthouse, there are panoramic views of Island beach, Barnegat Bay and Long Beach Island that can only be seen after a 217 step trek to the top. The history of this lighthouse is retold in the Barnegat Lighthouse Interpretive Center and there areas for picnics and fishing at the park.

Located at the southern end of Long Beach Island in Beach Haven, the Fantasy Island Amusement Park was fashioned after a Victorian era boardwalk with its walkways, oak benches, and ornate lampposts. Birthday celebrations area a popular feature at this destination as the park provides free rides for three hours and ice cream and soda for a minimum of eight children. This safe, family-friendly destination offers guests a host of rides, games, entertainment and an arcade. In regards to food and ice cream, the park's food court serves popular amusement park fare such as hamburgers, hot dogs and fries; the Sugar Shack sells cotton candy and popcorn; and the Ice Cream Parlor has a selection of ice creams, Italian ices and funnel cakes.

Thundering Surf Water Park is a family-fun facility that is part water park and part miniature golf course. Thundering Surf Water Park offers visitors water slides, a lazy river, dancing fountains, a bucket of water drop, an area for super soaker water wars, and Cowabunga Beach, which is a multi-level interactive play structure with small slides for children under 2 and larger slides for kids up to the age of 10. Adventure golf has two 18-hole golf courses that are beautifully maintained and suitable for all skill levels. In addition to the water park and miniature golf course, this destination also has free parking, two snack bars, an old fashioned ice cream parlor, infant pool and parents' sun deck.
