CAR MUST BE READY:
Get your car ready for the funeral. You will be driving in a uniform fashion through different streets so make sure that your vehicle works properly. Make sure the tires are in good condition. Also, clean your car on the inside and out.
FOLLOW THAT CAR:
In the parking lot there will be different vehicles that will be starting to get in line for the funeral procession. Be careful in forming that line.
Turn your high beam lights on so that the guiding officers will know those who are part of the funeral. Family and friends drive behind the hearse.
KEEP UP:
Once you're on the streets, stay behind the vehicle in front of you. Stay the same speed. When you're driving in a funeral procession do not pay attention to traffic signals. You need to keep up with everyone else to not break up the line. This should be kept uniform. If the speed of the line keeps going fast, just keep your distance a bit so that there won't be any accidents but keep your eye on the car. There will usually be law enforcement stopping traffic to allow the procession to drive smoothly. If there aren't enough officers though you need to be careful.
When you've arrived, find a good parking space so you can continue with the rest of the service. Be aware that some places have drivers park close together so be careful as you're exiting your vehicle.
