There have been a few successful helicopter landings on Mount Everest. In 2005, a Eurocopter AS350 B3 helicopter landed on the summit of Everest. This was the first time that a helicopter had ever landed on the world's highest mountain. However, the helicopter was only able to stay on the summit for a few minutes before it had to take off again.
In 2013, a Russian Mi-17 helicopter landed on the South Col of Everest. This was a more difficult landing than the 2005 landing, as the South Col is a narrow ridge with a steep drop-off on one side. The Mi-17 helicopter was able to stay on the South Col for several hours before taking off again.
These two landings demonstrate that it is possible to land a helicopter on Mount Everest. However, it is important to remember that these landings were carried out by highly skilled pilots in ideal conditions. It is not recommended to attempt to land a helicopter on Everest unless you have the necessary skills and experience.
