Can a tourist use US dollars in Greenland?

Greenland is a part of Denmark and as such the official currency is the Danish krone (DKK). The US Dollar is not legal tender in Greenland - but most stores and restaurants are happy to accept it. Just be prepared for a less favorable exchange rate.
