How much money does Brazil make on tourism?

In 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the tourism industry globally, Brazil generated approximately $5.7 billion and $7.4 billion in revenue from international tourism receipts.

Please note that these figures only account for revenue from international tourism; domestic tourism can substantially contribute to a country's economy as well. Since my knowledge cutoff is early 2023, the impact of the ongoing pandemic or subsequent developments on Brazil's tourism industry might not be reflected in these estimates. For the most current and accurate information, I recommend checking the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism or the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) websites.
