Consult your vehicle's owner's manual. Car manufacturers include important information such as tire size and pressure in the owner's manual. The information is usually located in the tire specifications section.
Check the tire pressure label. The label is located inside the fuel filler cap on some models. Remove the fuel filler cap and search for a PSI rating. The numbers preceding the PSI represent the recommended tire pressure.
Check the inside of your vehicle's doors. Many cars, including the 1995 Volvo, have labels that detail specific information about the vehicle. Check the right front and left doors of your Volvo for tire pressure information.
Check the pressure of your tires. Remove the cap from the tire valve stem by twisting it off. Insert the tire gauge into the valve stem. The tire gauge's hand will rest on a number identifying your tire pressure. If the tire pressure is in the recommended PSI range, replace the valve stem cap. If you need air, insert a tire air pump and fill your tire with air. Check the pressure again with the gauge to ensure the proper PSI. Repeat the process for each tire.
