When did the Pakistan and India fight over Kashmir ended?

The conflict over Kashmir between India and Pakistan is ongoing and has not ended. Both countries claim the entire region of Kashmir, and there have been several wars and conflicts over the disputed territory. The most recent major conflict was the Kargil War in 1999.
