Where was Lewis and journey take place?

Lewis and Clark's expedition took place in the western United States, starting from St. Louis, Missouri, and ending at the Pacific Ocean. The expedition covered over 8,000 miles (13,000 kilometers) and lasted from May 1804 to September 1806.
