Standard rooms have two queen beds and a daybed. Every room has a balcony from which guests can see a variety of animals grazing each day. Guest suites are also available.
Animal Kingdom Lodge's main pool is located is the Samawati Springs zero-depth entry pool, which is a pool you can walk into without use of a ladder or steps. The Uwanja Camp, located near Samawati, is an interactive watery playground, and the Uzima pool is another a zero-depth entry pool featuring a 67-foot water slide.
For guests on the go, The Mara provides quick service dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Boma - Flavors of Africa, a buffet-style eatery, lets guests choose from a variety of world cuisine items. Jiko - The Cooking Place offers American-style dishes with a multi-cultural twist.
The Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure is only offered to guests of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This 90-minute guided tour provides exclusive access to Animal Kingdom's knowledgeable curators and the animals in their care.
Guests should bring binoculars for up-close views of the animals outside their balcony. Also know that the Animal Kingdom Lodge does not allow balloons anywhere on site. Balloons will need to be completely deflated or checked at the front desk to be returned upon departure.
