What buildings did the Colosseum inspire?

The Colosseum has inspired architecture that includes:

- The Bullring of Bordeaux; inspired by its seating arrangements to allow audiences from around to get to their allotted section with ease.

- The Roman Amphitheatre of El Djem; built during the rule of Gordian III to mimic The Colosseum and become North Africa's most notable Amphitheatre.

- The Pula Area; considered to be amongst the six grandest surviving Roman Amphitheatres. Completed near the start of the 1st century CE, its design incorporates features seen inside the Colosseum.

- Verona Arena; this impressive Roman Amphitheatre in Northeastern Italy boasts similarities, particularly those concerning seating. Like Rome’s Colosseum, the seating has been numbered to ensure spectators find their places swiftly.
