Restaurants in Lower Manhattan

Lower Manhattan in New York City is the southernmost district in Manhattan, and is generally considered synonymous with the term "downtown." Widely accepted as all areas south of 14th street, neighborhoods that constitute the lower Manhattan area include Greenwich Village, SoHo, Little Italy, the Meatpacking District, Chinatown, TriBeCa and the Financial District. Otto Pizzeria
- Otto Pizzeria was born from a union between renowned chef Mario Batali and restaurateur Joe Bastianich. This Greenwich Village eatery tries to create a dining experience that brings together "memorable food" and an "intelligent wine list." Otto has a prolific selection of starters, including salads, vegetables and pasta plates. Spice Market
- The New York location of this exclusive chain is in the Meatpacking District. Spice Market has been covered by the New York Times, Time Magazine and the Wall Street Journal.
