Waterfront Restaurants in Manhattan

Manhattan's waterways helped shape the city into a trade and business capital. They also provide river or harbor views to accompany lunch or dinner. While seafood is the dominant theme in Manhattan's waterfront restaurants, you'll find other options as well, including Italian and Chinese cuisine.

  1. Gigino--Wagner Park

    • This Italian restaurant in Lower Manhattan offers views of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor. Italian-born chef Luigi Celentano prepares a traditional trattoria-style menu highlighted by fresh ingredients and simple gourmet touches. Start with Gigino's grilled bruschetta topped with fresh tomato, basil, garlic and olive oil; fried calamari with spicy tomato sauce; or lentil and escarole soup. Entrees include classics like tagliatelle alla Bolognese, mixed seafood risotto, and chicken scaloppine with cannelini beans, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes.
